This is a 60 Hour/2.5 Day Ultra Endurance training ride by former Guinness World Record holder and ultra endurance athlete, George Hood in preparation for an upcoming October fundraising event. The ride is a 24/7 operation being held at Fuel Sports Performance Training Center in Crest Hill, IL. The ride will start at 7PM on Wednesday August 4th and conclude at about 8AM on Saturday, August 7th. The ride will be done in accordance with GWR rules, which include, but are certainly not limited to, a 5 minute break or "rest" for every hour completed on the bike. This time may be accumulated and used throughout the ride as necessary. During any given break, George will be off the bike for the duration of the break, which usually averages about 15 minutes or so. The clock you see continues to run during the break and as with any marathon, it is the total time at the end of the ride that will count. Pls take note of the work beig done by the various crew personnel during the ride. These folks are volunteers whose duties sustain George throughout the ride. Without them, his effort would not be possible. Pls feel free to text George during the ride at 630-415-6222 or email him at trainer4663@yahoo.com . Enjoy the stream and thanks for the support!
