David R. Darrow ("Dave") is an accomplished oil painter and an experienced teacher. He graduated from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA in 1980, earning a BFA with honors in Illustration. He spent the next 20 years as a freelance illustrator doing book covers, movie poster, advertising and magazine illustration, and finally transitioned into Fine Art. Dave opens his Encinitas, California art studio 4 evenings per week to share what's going on in his mind with each new painting. Whether you are “just thinking” about putting paint to canvas or you are already an experienced painter, this
livecast provides the opportunity to further your craft. Dave has taught advanced art, anatomy, figure and advertising illustration courses at Art Center College of Design, San Diego State University and Art Institute of California - San Diego.
