Here is a list of the topics that we will cover today and we encourage all ideas relating to the brainstorm topics. We'll have one moderator for the in-person team and another will be moderating the online chatter:
Who’s the enemy? To achieve broader adoption, we should articulate what we stand against…an effective way to be an alternative to other news and entertainment stations.
What role can we play? Is it enough to be “people informing people?” What are the implications of being the Facebook of television?
What change platforms can they stand for? How can Current articulate inclusive social change platforms and show how the collective Current nation can affect it?
How should they take advantage of citizen celebrity? Social networks are growing fast because of peoples’ desire for fame. How can Current take advantage of this trend?
What could be new points of entry (content-wise)? What new areas of content could Current revolutionize to attract more young adults?
What new technology could encourage spread? How can we increase interaction with (and between) our viewers? How can we use it to lower the bar for contribution without sacrificing quality of product?
How can we engage with education? Beyond technical advice, how can we make better producers of content? How can we have the good train the beginners?
