About Travis Wayne:
He grew up in the small town of Manchester, Kentucky, where his love for country music started at a very young age through the inspiration he found in his hometown. At five, Travis learned how to play guitar and has since stepped up to the microphone to develop a truly unique sound. After small success playing through the local country music circuits, he wrote “I’m Still Dad,” which helped to launch his career.
This song led to Travis Wayne’s introduction to producer Dave Demay, through Curtis Mabry an artist with New Hope Management. Dave has been helping Travis record and produce his entire album. Currently, the unreleased album has songs by songwriters such as Casey Beathard (No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem - Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo), Dan Demay (Crazy Everytime - If Something Should Happen), and Bobby Pinson (Don't Ask Me How I Know - Past Comin' Back.)
Through these connections Travis Wayne was able to star on the hit reality show Redneck Island Season 3, which was hosted by former WWE star Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Travis Wayne has also been able to play at Country Music Award’s Downtown Festival in June 2013. He earned a nomination for the Independent Music Award’s Best Country Discovery Artist. Travis has been able to play some of the biggest stages around the country, including world famous Renfro Valley, Tootsie’s, and many more.
With his success on Redneck Island with over 1.4 million viewers, and his music award nomination Travis has been able to have his songs play on over 400 Radio Stations. Travis has released three songs so far- “I’m Still Dad,” “Ch-Ching” and “And Then Some.” Travis Wayne is the next big thing in country music and he has arrived, taking the country by storm.
"Outside of my family, music means more to me than anything, and just as important, are the people I share it with, both on the stage and in the audience." - Travis Wayne
