I love live improvisation! I used to do it live on stage but now I do it live here on Ustream. I ask people to send music for me to improvise with on the show, preferably which I haven't yet heard. That way, I can challenge myself to come up with melodies, sometimes lyrics, which fit on the fly. The edgy combination of not knowing what's coming next and having a live audience is one which somehow frees me. It's always fun and sometimes magic happens and truly beautiful music comes into being on the spot.
In the future, I hope to be able to get other musicians in via skype, though simultaneous ustream recording, and/or ejamming. Till then, I have to rely on what people send me in advance.
I am open to all genres of music.
If you send me something to work with, I may use the title you give it as the jumping off point for the lyrics, if any come bubbling up as I listen to the music. Please note that your music will be archived with mine here on Ustream and may even show up on YouTube - I sometimes strip the music from the video and upload it to my page on iCompositions.com also.
Besides my live improvisational work, which is viewable here in archive form, you can hear more of my music of all kinds at:
