Welcome to Calvary Chapel Franklin
In the late 1960s, the first Calvary Chapel was started in Costa Mesa, California, as a small nondenominational church of 25 members, pastored by Chuck Smith. Today, there are more than 1,500 Calvary Chapel churches and affiliates worldwide.
Having begun as a home Bible study in January 2008, Calvary Chapel Franklin held its first Sunday morning service in January 2009, joining in God’s effort to bring the life-changing power of the Word of God to Franklin, Tennessee. At Calvary Chapel Franklin, we take an expository approach to teaching the Bible, sharing the whole counsel of God, from Genesis through Revelation. We believe that the Bible is as relevant today as it was when the writers were led of the Holy Spirit to record it, and so we seek to share biblical instruction with an emphasis on personal application.
Whether you’re just visiting, or you're looking to become part of a church family, our hope is that as we spend time in fellowship, worship and walking verse-by-verse through the Word of God together, you would grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. At Calvary Chapel Franklin, we desire to equip people of all ages for a lifetime of knowing, loving and following Jesus.
