Jack & Viv are a pair of bonded senior bunnies, who enjoy hanging out their bunny room for most of the day. (Though they do venture out to the rest of the house in the late evenings)
About BinkyBunny.com: A fun site about House Rabbits that helps educate and entertain. Plus, we sell food, hay, toys and great unique products made just for bunnies (though other animals can benefit from some of it too)
He is sensitive, affectionate, expressive bunny who is always trying to gain the affections of his Diva bunny partner "Vivian"
Background: Jack had originally lived in a cage in a garage with his mate. They were turned into an animal shelter, and separated. (they don't do that now, unless the pair is fighting). His bonded mate was adopted out, and he was left behind. He was lonely and scared, and he'd huff, growl and lunge. Because he was a big boy and could easily scare everyone off, he was at risk for being euthanized. So SaveABunny.org took him in. I fostered him and quickly fell in love and adopted him.
She is a comical, extremely intelligent, inquisitive, confident and loving girl with a bit of divatude. For an older gal, she has a fun young curious spirit about her. A real character!
Background: She was at SaveABunny for 2 years, and before that she was causing havoc with her attitude at a previous shelter. It was exciting to see her get used to a new "forever home" with us. Most people may not have understood her "Divatude". No she doesn't want you to touch her stuff and yes, she will let you know it, especially if she doesn't really know you. But we have found that in a rather short amount of time, she is willing to trust and now looks forward to our approach when she is in her pen. She may give us the stink eye if we move some stuff around, but that's about it - maybe every once in awhile she'll give a girly like "huff". We just love every single thing about her.
