2010 will be a very important year for each of the big American professional sports leagues. The NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement ("CBA") is set to expire at the end of the 2010 season, the NBA CBA expires after its 2010/11 seasons, and the MLB has until December, 11, 2011 before the current CBA expires.
Thus, this year will be a crucial period full of negotiations between the owners and players' associations in each sport.
