Posted on by

As music lovers in the United States are sure to know, the UK and the States have a long, storied history of musical exchanges. Ever since The Beatles came crashing from beyond the Atlantic waves, the States’ music scene would never be quite the same. From the first wave like The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, to the 80’s new wave like Duran Duran and The Cure to even the stars of today like Amy Winehouse, Muse and Coldplay… we all have our favorite UK artist; who’s yours?

Now thanks to Ustream, you don’t even have to wait for the plane to touchdown to watch your favorite Uk bands of tomorrow, live and in the moment.

We have two special performances in store today Wednesday, June 4, both featuring the stylings of emerging UK artists of today.

One has already landed a heady U.S. gig at Ustream stalwart radio station, Sophie’s Lounge, based in San Diego:

Smooth-strumming UK chart topper Newton Faulkner is set to appear for a performance @ Wednesday, , June 4, 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET.

When any of these acts are in all of your friends’ iPods one day, don’t pretend like I didn’t tell you so.
