Ustream Live from Austin!

In case you haven’t yet heard the siren call, thousands of musicians, music fans, tech geeks, entrepeneurs, fashionistas, and journalists will shortly be descending on Austin, TX for SXSW Interactive and SXSW. This years’ melting pot of musically inclined interactive goodness promises to be a great one, and Ustream will have plenty of live coverage of events at the festival just in case you didn’t cough up the dough for a festival pass. Startup Bus 2012
Daily at 12pm PT
Imagine this: you and a team of strangers, on a bus traveling 60 mph, have 72 hours to conceive, build, and launch a startup. That’s what will be going down on the StartupBus daily until Monday. Then, during SXSW stay tuned for live broadcasts of the StartupBus Finals, and go inside the hottest parties across Austin, TX.

Beginning 2pm PT/5pm ET
AP’s Global Entertainment Editor, Alicia Quarles, will be hosting AP’s LIVE feed and chatting with the stars as they make their way down the red carpet! You can also check out the AP Live channel for highlights of past years’ Oscar fashion.

PopSugar
Beginning 2:30pm PT/5:30pm ET
Watch along with Sugar editors Allison McNamara and Lindsay Miller as they provide commentary on the fashion and beauty looks like from their studio. Remembering Whitney

Whitney Houston fans the world over will have a chance to view the legendary singer’s funeral LIVE on Ustream when it airs this Saturday starting at 8am PT/11am ET. The service will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, where she used to sing as a child. Only a select group of friends and family will attend the funeral service, among them her “Bodyguard” co-star Kevin Costner, friend and mentor Clive Davis, and singing legends Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, who will also perform.
