Big week on Ustream! On Saturday, August 22, The Jonas Brothers are doing another webchat from Atlanta. Anyone who’s seen their previous chats knows how funny these guys are (The Jonas hippo, anyone?). Tune in on Saturday at 11am PST right here.
Also happening this week:
On Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 3pm PST, American Idol alum and Dallas, TX native Jason Castro is doing an hour-long webchat. Although he may be best-known as the dreadlocked Season 7 American Idol contestant, Castro is a serious musician who comes from a musical family–his father and two siblings are also songwriters. Don’t miss this opportunity to get to know him a little bit better! You can tune in right here.
On Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 8am PST, tune in here to watch Duke University welcome incoming freshmen in their Convocation Ceremony.
Also on Wednesday, band Push Play will be doing a live webchat. Hang out with the guys, ask them your burning questions, and beg them to play their latest single, Midnight Romeo. Tune in here at 2pm PST to catch all the action.
A musical legend will also host her own live chat on Wednesday. She’s sold over 50 million albums worldwide, made over 30 albums, and earned the title “queen of country” for her outstanding contributions to the genre and the industry as a whole. We need only say her first name, Reba, and you will know we’re of course talking about country music legend Reba McEntire. Tune in here at 3:30pm PST.
On Thursday Honor Society will begin their weekly webchat series from “Fashionably Late” in Charlotte, NC. The series will air every Thursday at 5pm PST through September 10, so don’t forget to tune in weekly right here to hang out with the guys. Impromptu performances and signature dance moves are sure to happen.
Also beginning on Thursday, the Kyokushin Karate Event will broadcast live from Japan. Kyokushin is a style of stand-up, full contact karate that was developed in the 1960s to mimic combat situations and emphasize physical toughness and practicality. Tune in here on Thursday starting at 7pm PST, Friday at 7pm PST, and Saturday at 6:3opm PST.
Finally, on Thursday night at 8:30pm PST, spend half an hour getting to know “Cocktail,” the winner of “For the Love of Ray J.” Find out what life–and love with Ray J is really like, and how much of the show was for real! Tune in here.
