The #1 Rock Band in the country is coming to Ustream.TV! On November 13th at 9am Eastern and 2pm London, the Plain White T’s will do a live stream interacting with their fans and playing several songs for the Ustream nation!
For almost a decade, the Plain White T’s have been playing to packed audiences craving for that perfect pop-punk punch. Plain White T’s was founded back in 1997 by Tom Higgenson, its first and only front man. Inspired by the booming local music scene, which included the likes of Smashing Pumpkins, Higgenson recruited some kids from his local high school including guitarist Dave Tirio, and the PWT’s were born.
PWT’s debut album Stop, was recorded entirely in a friend’s basement and self released in 2002. The music industry took note. Fearless Records signed PWT’s and re-released Stop along with their 1995 album, All That We Needed. The PWT’s showed a softer side with “Hey There Delilah” their 1st single of Every Second Counts.
Be sure to tune in and come speak with this top national band on Ustream.TV!

Over the past year, Ustream has been witness to numerous high profile political figures from Hillary Clinton to the Former President of Ireland. We recently witnessed Mike Gravel’s Anti-Debate on Ustream after he was not allowed to participate in the national event on MSNBC.
As impressive as the national events are, I’m most intrigued by the use of Ustream in local politics. This past week, the SB Sun Newspaper did live commentary around the election results for two precincts in San Bernardino, California. People from the local area were encouraged to watch and take part as the election results rolled in through midnight. Although I knew little about the candidates and the specific political climate in SB, I witnessed local democracy in action and actually enjoyed it.
As the barriers to stream come down (and they will people!!!), I know we’ll see more small towns around the country doing similar streams.
See the full election night coverage here:
Kate Michelman, former president of NARAL pro-choice America, and Cate Edwards, John and Elizabeth’s daughter, will attend a series of events in New Hampshire to discuss John’s plans to address some of the most important issues facing women today.
As part of this event, they will each be taking questions live from the chatrooms on Ustream.TV. The live stream will begin Saturday Nov 10th at 2:30pm EST. Please join us

After taking a few weeks off to upgrade the GGL studio and prepare for a second season of live TV-quality broadcasting, the crew of Epileptic Gaming is ready to return to their daily live shows beginning Nov. 5.
Recognized as the Web’s only live video show dedicated to videogames and the culture that surrounds it, Epileptic Gaming reaches your target audience of gamers. Connecting with a worldwide audience of males and females age 15-35, Epileptic Gaming is setting the standard of how next-generation videogame content should be done.
With a cast of diverse personalities who break the standard stereotype, Epileptic Gaming is hosted by long-time e-sports shoutcaster Marcus “djWHEAT†Graham whose experience in front of the camera and speaking directly with gamers is unmatched.
“Epileptic Gaming began as an underground Internet radio show in 2003 and as the years progressed we realized that more and more gamers were looking for an alternative voice for videogame news and reviews,†said host Graham. “Now that we’re a daily video show, we can reach a larger audience. We’re also finding that gamers are attracted to our broadcast because we’re offering something so completely unique to the traditional gaming space. It’s something that gamers have never seen before and almost immediately latch onto because it’s so exciting and new.â€
Epileptic Gaming is aired live at 7 p.m. Eastern / 4 p.m. Pacific and featured everyday on Ustream with videos on demand offered on the show’s official Web site for free, shortly after each show.
