The Italian national team has grown from strength to strength over recent years and has built up a strong and talented squad of players. In 2011, the team recorded some outstanding victories. For example, in the Six Nations tournament the team defeated France 22-21 in an exhilarating match. In addition, during the World Cup 2011, Italy recorded their best showing so far, as they won two pool stage matches.
In Autumn 2012 the Italian rugby team will play a series of international games against some of the world’s top sides and will be hoping to cement their reputation as one of the world’s best teams.
